逆風行腳歌ㄟ

Hah, just heard the soundtrack that's played when 逆風行腳團 enters the arena. The movie's called U-571.

Good times.

My arm is FAT

OMG my forearm got a bite from a spider last night, this morning it's already developed 2 blisters, boss told me to mark/circle the swelling/redness to monitor if its size expands or not, and by the end of the day it's swollen up like a sausage, my arm is FAT!!!

Maybe by tmr I'll be the next Wikus van de Merwe.

I represented my Rep team

Living in a small town like Hamilton is interesting, every now and then you'll bump into someone who's represented their province at age group level or the elite level, since the population here is only 100,000. Today saw another girl who played for her rep hockey team in the 90s. They must be so proud of their rugby team though, winning the NPC and building an empire for the Ranfurly Shield. Good stuff!

Ex rugby rep

Treated a guy who played for Waikato reps from schoolboys to colleage in the 80s, then played for Waikato B in the new century. He had the experience of getting smashed by Jonah Lomu before he became an international superstar, which is kinda cool. Unfortunately some All Black called Tom Willis came up from Dunedin to play for the Mooloos and that kept my man out of top grade honors

Little Girl Throws Baseball Back

I saw this on New Zealand news, the more I watch it the more interesting and fun it became. Basically it put a smile on my face all day long.

The Phillies Daddy caught the foul ball behind the plate (which is really hard to do considering the spin and deviation of the ball!!), HI-FIs his friends and 3 year-old daughter Emily, who then receives the ball and throws it back towards the field.

The little girl's innocent act shocked everyone in the stand especially her daddy. According to Steve (the dad) the girl thought she did something wrong after the crowd's reaction, mommy's reaction, her 15-month-old sister's stare, and most importantly her father's fascial expression. So Steve immediately hugged her to show that "it's ok^^you did nothing wrong"

Touching. Reactions from people who has seen this includes:

"he should win Father of the Year Award"

"Priceless moment"

"The guy has got his priority right"

"More touching than the Phillies winning the World Series"

Apparently the person who caught the ball in the stand below gave the ball back and Steve and his naughty daughter are going to receive a queue of interviews, a surprise present and possibly VIP membership for life.

The video was supposed to be a phenomenal viral hit (my friends ranging from Taiwan to NZ have seen it) but MLB decided to forbid others from posting the videos. So I'll just post the link but hopefully in the near future I can post the video here to enhance the quality of my blog.
